Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Reports to: Operations Manager
We are seeking a seeking a dynamic results-driven Warehouse Supervisor who will be accountable for the overall Warehouse performance, by leading the warehouse team, implementing best practices in stock management, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This role requires strong planning, strong team leadership, and ensuring that warehouse targets are met in alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate, and oversee all warehouse activities to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in alignment with company objectives.
· Help develop and implement inventory control systems to minimize stock variances, optimize stock levels, and ensure product availability.
· Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff to build a high performing team culture with strong accountability and safety focus.
· Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies;
· Monitor and manage warehouse budgets, including labour, equipment, and consumables, ensuring cost-effective operations.
· Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock accuracy, order fulfilment rates, and turnaround times.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and enforce strict adherence to safety standards.
· Help oversee the design and optimization of warehouse layout to ensure efficient flow of goods and space utilization.
· Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions on ERP or warehouse management systems. Provide system feedback and suggest enhancements.
· Liaise with procurement, workshop, logistics, and finance teams to align warehouse operations with business needs.
· Prepare and present detailed reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on warehouse performance, stock status, and improvement plans.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree / certification in Business Administration, Stock, Logistics and or Supply Chain.
· Proven experience (5-7 years) in warehouse operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
· Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and supply chain processes;
· Proficiency in ERP or warehouse management systems;
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and reporting);
· Sound understanding of logistics, procurement, and stock control processes;
· Experience with warehouse layout optimization and equipment management;

· Someone who is honest, reliable, pro-active and disciplined, who is performance-driven and results-oriented.
· A positive attitude and strong work ethic;
· Valid driver’s license preferred (Forklift License advantageous).
· Personal certification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) / Zambia Institute of Procurement and Supply (ZIPS).
