Senior Financial Accountant

Job Description:

Working closely with the CEO and Executive Team, you'll be far more than a traditional accountant. You'll be a trusted business partner, helping ensure financial accuracy while providing insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships across the business, and working in an environment where initiative and fresh thinking are encouraged.
 

Skills & Experience:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Managing month-end and year-end processes
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Supporting audit processes and annual financial statements
• Managing VAT, tax, and statutory compliance requirements
• Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends and risks
• Supporting operational teams with financial analysis and reporting
• Assisting with process improvements and strengthening financial controls
• Partnering with executives to provide meaningful business insights
• Completed articles with 2–3 years' post-articles experience or
• BCom with 5–6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
• Excellent Excel skills and strong systems aptitude
• Confident communicator who can engage with senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Professional, proactive, and solutions-driven approach

• BCom Accounting qualification
