The University is seeking to recruit suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:

1. Accounts Officer

The Accounts Officer will play a critical role in managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves reconciling financial statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, the Accounts Officer shall support audits, manage financial systems, and may be assigned ad hoc tasks by senior financial management in supporting the financial operations of the University.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university. Or
• Professional accounting certification (e.g. ZICA/CA, ACCA).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an academic or similar institutional setting.
• Registered Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)

2. Tutor

The Tutor will be responsible for supporting student learning through the delivery of tutorials, practical sessions, and academic guidance within their field of specialization. The role involves assisting with teaching activities, facilitating student engagement and academic development, contributing to assessment processes, and participating in departmental and academic support activities.

Education and Qualifications:

·        MBChB/ MMED.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
