Instrumentation Internal Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries regarding instrumentation products (pressure, flow, level, temperature devices and related equipment)
• Provide technical guidance to customers on correct product selection for their application
• Prepare accurate quotations and proactively follow up to secure orders
• Process sales orders on the ERP/inventory system and track through to fulfilment
• Liaise with suppliers and principals regarding pricing, specifications and lead times
• Support external sales representatives and technical staff with product and pricing information
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across the wider hydraulics, pump and instrumentation range
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes and sales performance
• Assist with resolving product queries, calibration/warranty issues and returns

Requirements & Experience

• Matric / Grade 12; an instrumentation, electrical or measurement/control-related qualification advantageous
• Minimum 2-3 years' internal sales experience in instrumentation or industrial/technical equipment distribution
• Working knowledge of instrumentation products such as pressure/level/flow/temperature measurement devices
• Working knowledge of an ERP/stock management system (e.g. Syspro, Pastel, SAP)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver's licence advantageous
