Group Property Manager

Duties:
 
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of multiple properties within the group.
Implement preventative maintenance schedules and programs.
Manage maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers.
Conduct regular property inspections and identify areas requiring attention.
Monitor building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Manage maintenance budgets and control expenditure.
Coordinate repairs, renovations, and improvement projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset registers.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during maintenance activities.
Provide regular reports to senior management.
 
Requirements:
 
Grade 12
A formal qualification
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Property Management, Facilities Management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building maintenance and facilities operations.
Experience managing multiple properties or sites.
Proven experience managing maintenance contractors and suppliers.
Good understanding of Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
Strong budgeting and cost-control experience.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
Valid driver’s licence.
