The Camp Administrator is responsible for the overall management and smooth daily operations of the company’s site camp. This role ensures high standards of accommodation, catering, facility maintenance, and recreation while strictly managing budgets and compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
1. Operations & Facility Management
- Oversee all camp facilities, ensuring clean, safe, and comfortable living conditions for all residents and guests.
- Coordinate daily catering, housekeeping, laundry, and waste management services, maintaining strict hygiene standards.
- Supervise maintenance routines for camp buildings, utilities (water, power)
- Manage room allocations, check-in/check-out processes, and maintain an updated camp registry.
2. Supply Chain & Inventory Control
- Manage inventories for food rations, cleaning supplies, linens, and maintenance equipment.
- Generate purchase requisitions for camp supplies, ensure timely delivery, and verify quality upon receipt.
- Manage fuel supplies and logs for camp generators and utility vehicles.
3. Budgeting & Administration
- Control camp operating expenses against the approved monthly and annual budgets.
- Verify vendor invoices, timesheets, and service delivery receipts before submitting them to finance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly camp occupancy and operational reports for management.
4. HSE, Security & Compliance
- Enforce camp rules, code of conduct, and safety protocols among residents and contractors.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchens and living quarters to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the security team to monitor camp access and ensure emergency response plans are up to date.
