Purpose of the Role To ensure all welding activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, codes, specifications, and client requirements. Minimum Requirements · IWS (International Welding Specialist) qualification (essential) · Welding Inspector qualification advantageous · Minimum 5 years' experience in a fabrication or workshop environment · Experience with pressure vessels, tanks, piping, or structural steel advantageous · Sound understanding of welding procedures and weld defects · Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings · Knowledge of quality management systems and inspection procedures Key Responsibilities · Conduct visual weld inspections · Verify compliance with WPSs and welding procedures · Monitor welder qualifications and certifications · Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation · Identify and report non-conformances · Liaise with production and quality teams · Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards · Support client and third-party inspections
