Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, storage, and distribution processes.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading warehouse teams to achieve business objectives.
- The role also requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, reduce losses, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in line with company policies and operational standards.
- Ensure efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Implement warehouse best practices to optimize operational efficiency and space utilization.
- Supervise inventory control processes, stock reconciliation, and reporting activities.
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Order Fulfillment & Process Optimization:
- Manage customer order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Monitor and improve order processing, pick-and-pack efficiency, and inventory availability.
- Serve as an escalation point for warehouse and order management issues.
- Collaborate with business leaders to improve productivity, reduce operational losses, and enhance customer experience.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse supervisors and officers.
- Monitor team performance and implement development initiatives where necessary.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum of Second Class Upper/2:1 in a relevant discipline
- Professional certification or diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant warehouse management experience.
- Experience managing ERP-driven and barcode-enabled warehouse operations.
- Prior experience within multinational pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and logistics operations.
