Role Overview:

• Vegetable Promoter Jobs in Lusaka As a Vegetable Promoter at Syngenta, you will represent the company’s vegetable seeds sales team in the Lusaka region.
• Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with farmers, retailers, and distributors to promote Syngenta’s vegetable seed varieties.
• You will facilitate product trials, provide technical training, and ensure that products are readily available to farmers through the distribution network.
• Key Responsibilities Establish demonstration plots on farms to showcase Syngenta seed performance.
• Conduct technical training sessions for farmers and channel partners in the region.
• Organize and lead events such as field days, product launches, and stakeholder training programs.
• Maintain regular contact with retailers and distributors to enhance product knowledge and usage.
• Introduce new products effectively through demonstrations and training initiatives.
• Perform weekly visits to retail and distribution outlets to monitor stock levels and product movement.
• Follow up on outstanding debts with retailers on behalf of distributors, strictly limited to communication without collection responsibilities.
• Qualifications and Experience Diploma in Agriculture or an equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of sales experience; additional sales experience is advantageous.
• Technical expertise in creating demos and delivering training in agronomy and crop protection.
• Strong knowledge of geographic, climatic, and environmental factors relevant to agriculture.
• Valid motorbike driving license and willingness to travel extensively by motorbike.
• Good understanding of the vegetable seed market and customer needs.
