POSITION: TEMPORARY COMPLIANCE OFFICERS

POSITION DETAILS

  • Department: Audit and Compliance
  • Grade: F7 (Temporary)
  • Reporting To: Regional Business Officer
  • Responsible For: FISP Temporary Sales Clerks

JOB PURPOSE

The Temporary Compliance Officer shall be responsible for monitoring, supervising, and facilitating FISP project transactions for a designated FISP cluster.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review all cash sales (fertilizer redemption) and general receipts.
  • Review and ensure depot cluster sales reconciliations are completed according to prescribed procedures.
  • Ensure all sales cash for the cluster is banked accurately and on time.
  • Prepare weekly reports for the assigned cluster.
  • Liaise with banks and ensure timely cash collections.
  • Monitor inventory reorder levels and process requisitions for restocking AIP fertilizers at depots within the cluster.
  • Prepare general receipts returns and introspection reports.
  • Supervise subordinate staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, or a related field.
  • Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with credits in Mathematics and English.
  • A valid A/A1 motorcycle licence.
  • At least two (2) years’ work experience in a busy Monitoring and Evaluation or Sales Office.
  • Applicants should be between 25 and 50 years of age.
  • No criminal record.
