Technician

Are you a hands-on technical professional looking to build your career in a dynamic FMCG environment? We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Organize and prepare daily work plans for subordinates

2. Perform regular inspection of tools and equipment.

3. Evaluate completed work orders to ensure that all policies and standards have been followed.

4. Perform routine maintenance to Air conditioners and other equipment within the Factory premises

5. Authorize procurement of spare parts and any other items related to refrigeration as and when required

6. Ensure that customer sheets are raised for each, and every job carried out in the workshop

7. Liaise with the Manager and Cooler Supervisor for repair program of equipment. 

8. Attend breakdowns and emergencies promptly outside office hours with regards to both refrigeration and plumbery.

9. Perform plumbery works including repairing of leaks and pipe systems as and when required.

10. Prepare estimates for both refrigeration and plumbery works as and when required.

11. Ensure that the workshop is kept tidy and equipment are maintained in good working condition
12. Take care of all cooling system on Production F & B, Cooler, Cold Room and Reefer at Trianon.
13. Perform any other cognate duties related to Garage/Transport Department as delegated by the Manager or its delegate.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work on shifts when required.
