Technical Sales / Sales Engineer - Cape Town

Requirements:

• Technical qualification would be an advantage.
• Matric / Grade 12.
• Extensive technical knowledge of Instrumentation and Valves would be an advantage.
• Good sales background with a proven track record would be an advantage.
• Must be a self-starter with a proactive approach.
• Own reliable transport is essential.
• Must be willing to travel extensively.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Call on and service the existing client base.
• Expand the existing client base.
• Plan and conduct sales calls.
• Complete and submit call plans and call reports.
• Prepare and submit quotations to customers.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
• Ensure sales budgets are achieved.
• Plan and execute market penetration strategies.
• Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products.
• Liaise with customers on a regular basis to ensure service levels meet expectations.
• Evaluate policies and procedures relating to customer satisfaction and make recommendations where required.
• Promote the company's products and services while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Contribute to the overall profitability and growth of the branch.
