The Technical Manager will oversee the safe and efficient operation of all technical assets, manufacturing equipment, and facilities across multiple plants. The candidate will lead a dedicated team to ensure continuous improvement and optimize the production processes within the Manufacturing & Production sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing: Operate, maintain and enhance all manufacturing equipment including Presses, Pelletizers, and Reformers.
Recovery Plants: Ensure optimal operation of Recovery Plants 1–5 and associated cooling systems.
Electricity: Manage electrical infrastructure, PV systems, and generators.
General Maintenance: Implement preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance programs for technical equipment.
Stock Control: Maintain effective Technical Critical Stock Control (CSC) for uninterrupted operations.
Finances: Prepare, manage, and control the Technical, HR, and Project Budget-Forecast-Actual process.
Projects: Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects within budget and on schedule.
Human Resources: Lead, develop, and manage technical personnel and Production staff.
Premises: Manage and maintain company buildings and facilities.
Equipment: Oversee assembly, maintenance, and improvement of all machines.
Reports: Prepare accurate daily and monthly reports on various operational aspects.
Production Management: Provide overall production management for the branch.
Fleet Management: Oversee Group fleet management including procurement and maintenance.
Requirements:
Technical qualification (Trade or diploma/degree).
CMMS and SCADA knowledge.
Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of the refrigeration process.
Knowledge of the OSH act
Minimum 10 years' management experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
