We are seeking an experienced Site HR Supervisor to manage the on-site workforce at a busy warehouse operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for workforce management, employee relations, payroll administration, client liaison, and ensuring seamless service delivery to the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a large contingent workforce deployed to the client site.
Act as the primary liaison between the client, employees, and the recruitment agency.
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, inductions, and placement of warehouse staff.
Prepare and manage employee rosters in line with operational requirements and client demands.
Monitor attendance, absenteeism, overtime, productivity, and workforce performance.
Accurately compile, verify, and submit weekly and monthly timesheets for payroll processing.
Ensure all payroll submissions are completed within the required deadlines.
Investigate and resolve payroll-related queries, including hours worked, leave, overtime, and wage discrepancies.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Conduct disciplinary hearings, investigations, counselling sessions, and grievance procedures.
Ensure compliance with labour legislation, BCEA, LRA, client requirements, and company policies.
Handle employee queries and provide day-to-day HR support to all site-based staff.
Conduct regular site audits and workforce assessments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring service delivery standards are consistently achieved.
Compile and submit weekly and monthly operational, HR, and payroll reports.
Support workforce planning to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures on site.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Management, or a related field.
3–5 years' experience within a Recruitment Agency, TES (Temporary Employment Services), Labour Broker, Warehousing, Logistics, or Manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and industrial relations processes.
