Background

The Service Consultant acts as the key link between the customer and the service department, ensuring an excellent service experience and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Customer Consultation: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and create accurate repair estimates and repair orders.
• Communication: Act as the liaison between customers and technicians, clearly explaining the required repairs and keeping the customer updated on the vehicle's progress.
• Service Recommendation: Proactively recommend additional services or maintenance using a consultative approach to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Quality Control: Oversee the work of technicians, participate in quality control processes, and ensure all repairs meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Complaint Handling: Handle minor customer concerns and escalate larger issues to the Service Manager when necessary to maintain high customer satisfaction.
