Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand market share within the industrial chemicals sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B sales, business development, key account management, and team leadership. This role requires an individual who understands industrial chemical products and has experience managing a sales team while delivering revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across key industries including manufacturing, oil & gas, FMCG, construction, paints & coatings, plastics, and water treatment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Lead negotiations, prepare commercial proposals, and close high-value deals.
  • Manage and grow key customer accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to management.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8+ years' experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within the industrial chemicals industry.
  • Must have held a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, or similar leadership position for at least 2–3 years.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a sales team.
  • Strong understanding of industrial chemical products, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
