Senior Building Foreman - Gauteng A leading property developer is seeking an experienced Senior Building Foreman to join their team on prestigious residential and mixed-use developments in the Midrand area, Gauteng.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale building projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all site construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labour teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to programme, budget, and quality requirements.
• Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with Site Agents, Contracts Managers, Consultants, and Project Managers.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and labour returns.
• Drive productivity while minimizing delays and rework.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience as a Building Foreman, with at least 5 years in a Senior Foreman role.
• Proven experience on large residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high-rise developments.
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, sequencing, and finishes.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and labour teams effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Sound understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and programme delivery.
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working for reputable property developers or leading building contractors.
• Exposure to multi-storey residential developments.
• Knowledge of CCS, BuildSmart, or other construction management systems would be advantageous.
