Sales and Administration Officer (Insurance)

Location: Lusaka

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Sales and Administration Officer to join our growing insurance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and providing efficient administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell insurance products to new and existing clients.
  • Identify prospective customers and generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Prepare quotations, policy documents, and renewal notices.
  • Process new business applications, policy amendments, and claims documentation.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and filing systems.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally, both in person and via phone/email.
  • Prepare sales reports and administrative documentation.
  • Support the branch or office with general administrative duties.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, administration, or the insurance industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
