About the role
The Receptionist and Sales Support role manages front desk operations, welcomes visitors, and handles calls and enquiries.
Responsibilities:
Manage front desk
- Manage sign-in / security access (badges, registers).
- Direct people to classrooms, offices, or staff.
- Maintain a clean, professional reception area.
- Welcome guests & offer refreshments.
- Maintain logs.
Communication management:- Answer switchboard and route calls.
- Take messages.
- Respond to student queries or general queries (venues, contacts etc.).
Support with sales & basic admin work:- Manage meeting room bookings.
- Manage couriers, deliveries, office supplies..
- Ensure all company documents are consistently updated, accurately maintained, and aligned with internal compliance
- Support direct (internal consultants) and indirect (external partners/resellers) sales functions with documentation, lead handovers, and follow-up coordination.
- Assist with the preparation of client-facing documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate input of all lead and client data into the company’s CRM system.
- Maintain data integrity, flag duplicates, and support database cleansing initiatives.
- Collect and qualify leads from multiple channels.
Minimum Requirements
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
- Matric.
