Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance

• Follow all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements and company safety procedures
• Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Comply with food safety and hygiene standards within the production environment

• Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to quality procedures
• Perform visual, functional, and dimensional checks against product specifications and customer requirements
• Approve first-off samples before production continues
• Identify and report any non-conforming products or process deviations
• Complete and support Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required
• Assist with investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions
• Ensure defective products are isolated and traceability is maintained
• Conduct routine quality tests and record results accurately for reporting and audits
• Maintain colour standards and quality registers
• Support production teams by providing guidance on quality requirements
• Assist with the release of finished goods, including preparation of Certificates of Approval (COA)

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment
• Experience in plastics or high-volume injection moulding environments advantageous
• Good understanding of product specifications and customer requirements
• Familiar with NCR processes and basic problem-solving methods
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Understanding of document control and quality systems
• Internal auditing exposure advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
