VOLUNTEER AS PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT US
Another Chance Alcohol & Drugs Rehabilitation Center is committed to the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals struggling with substance abuse through care, support, counseling and life skills development.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Grade 12 certificate and/or relevant qualification in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in public relations, media engagement or social media management is an advantage.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with the public, partners, donors and stakeholders.
Creative, organized and able to work independently.
Passionate about our mission and willing to volunteer time and talent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the Center's mission and programs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the community, partners, government, media and other stakeholders.
Represent the Center at events, meetings and community engagements.
Manage social media platforms and other communication channels.
Prepare press releases, newsletters, reports and other publications.
Support fundraising and resource mobilization efforts through communication and outreach.
Monitor media coverage and protect the Center's reputation.
