Provide technical leadership across the aluminum recycling process, including scrap receiving, melting, alloying, refining, casting, and finished product handling.
Support operational readiness, commissioning, startup, and plant ramp-up while establishing operating procedures and best practices.
Optimize production performance by improving metal recovery, reducing melt losses, increasing throughput, and enhancing product quality and energy efficiency.
Monitor operational KPIs, troubleshoot process issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Metallurgy, and Technical teams to improve plant reliability, safety, and operational performance.
Coach and mentor operational teams, transfer technical knowledge, and promote a strong culture of safety and operational excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
12+ years of industrial manufacturing experience, including 7+ years in aluminum recycling operations.
Proven experience in secondary aluminum melting and casting, with startup, commissioning, or ramp-up experience highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of recycling processes, furnace operations, alloying, casting, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
Fluent in English.
