JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated and competent Physics and Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and delivering engaging Physics and Chemistry lessons.
  • Developing lesson plans, teaching materials and practical activities.
  • Conducting assessments, marking assignments and examinations.
  • Guiding students in practical laboratory work.
  • Monitoring and supporting students’ academic progress.
  • Maintaining accurate academic records.
  • Promoting discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Participating in departmental and academic activities when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with specialization in Physics and Chemistry.
  • Relevant teaching experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the Zambian secondary/tertiary education curriculum.
  • Good communication and classroom management skills.
