Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications and APIs. The successful candidate will be responsible for building robust backend systems that support mobile and web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel.
• Design and build secure RESTful APIs.
• Develop scalable backend architecture.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases.
• Write reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
• Implement authentication and authorization.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot bugs and production issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, mobile developers, and UI/UX designers.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Write technical documentation where necessary.
• Ensure application security and compliance with best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x.
• Extensive experience with Laravel Framework.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in MySQL and database optimization.
• Experience with Eloquent ORM.
• Familiarity with Composer.
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Knowledge of Laravel Queues, Jobs, Events, and Scheduling.
• Experience implementing authentication Laravel Sanctum or Passport.
• Familiarity with caching technologies Redis or Memcached.
• Understanding of API security and data protection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience with Docker.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean deployments.
• Experience with Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with Nginx or Apache configuration.
• Experience with PHPUnit and automated testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with WebSockets and real-time applications.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Elasticsearch or Meilisearch.
• Experience integrating payment gateways.
• Familiarity with queue monitoring tools Horizon.
• Knowledge of SMS, email, and notification services.
• Experience working with healthcare, fintech, or enterprise applications.
