The Network & Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of network infrastructure and digital devices across the organization and client environments. The role involves configuring network equipment, deploying IT devices, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting cloud and on-premises connectivity, and ensuring reliable and secure operation of infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other networking equipment.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, IP phones, and other digital devices.
- Perform operating system installation, software setup, user onboarding, and device provisioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Support cloud networking technologies, including VPCs, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and pre-deployment testing of equipment.
- Monitor network performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Maintain network diagrams, device inventories, configuration records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement, warranty claims, repairs, and technical support.
- Provide technical assistance during project implementation and client engagements.
