• National Breweries Plc invites a dedicated and results-oriented Maintenance Controller to join our Packaging team.
• This pivotal role focuses on maximizing equipment availability and fostering operational excellence within our dynamic production environment.
• Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Controller Jobs in Kitwe Lead, coach, and supervise maintenance teams to ensure efficient production support.
• Plan and execute preventive and scheduled maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Manage the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts for smooth operations.
• Monitor plant reliability and optimize packaging machine efficiency continuously.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with manufacturing excellence programs.
• Facilitate problem-solving sessions, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Uphold stringent health, safety, environmental compliance, and housekeeping standards.
• Develop and mentor artisans, technicians, and operators to enhance maintenance effectiveness.
• Oversee engineering administration ensuring compliance with maintenance systems and procedures.
• Drive the adoption of Manufacturing Way/GEM principles and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of packaging production processes and related technologies.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, preferably COSWIN.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and lead teams effectively.
• A proven track record of fostering a high-performance maintenance culture.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Way strategies and continuous improvement methodologies.
