Job Summary

  • The Logistics Driver will be responsible for the safe transportation of staff, clients, documents, and materials to designated locations.
  • The role also includes vehicle maintenance monitoring, delivery coordination, and supporting the company's logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Logistics Support:

  • Safely transport staff, executives, clients, and visitors as assigned.
  • Deliver and collect documents, materials, and supplies from various locations.
  • Support site operations through the movement of equipment and logistics materials.
  • Assist with errands and administrative logistics duties when required.
  • Support management during company events, inspections, and project activities.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:

  • Ensure company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report faults promptly.
  • Monitor vehicle servicing schedules, insurance, and licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip records.
  • Observe all traffic regulations and company safety policies.
  • Ensure the security of passengers, company assets, and transported materials.

Key Performance Indicators KPIs

  • 100% compliance with vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Zero avoidable accidents or traffic violations.
  • Timely completion of assigned trips and deliveries.
  • Accurate vehicle logbook documentation.
  • Positive feedback from staff and management on transportation services.

Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum of SSCE / WAEC qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years driving experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience driving executives and handling logistics operations is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Valid Nigerian Driver's License.
  • Good knowledge of Abuja road networks and surrounding states.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management and reliability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
