Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce is the largest Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVET) institution under the Ministry of Technology and Science (MoTS). 2.2 SCHOOL OF APPLIED & HEALTH SCIENCES
2.2.1 LECTURER – BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES x 01
MAIN DUTIES
- Undertakes the delivery of lectures in accordance with the curricula in order to impart knowledge to students
- Undertakes student’s assessment, research supervision, and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of lecturing
- Prepares schemes of work and lesson plans in order to ensure efficient delivery of lectures
- Prepares teaching aids and lecture materials in order to improve the effectiveness of lectures
- Undertakes research and consultancy in the relevant field in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Full Form V/ Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, A Master’s Degree in Hematology will be an added advantage
- Qualification in Teaching Methodology is a must with at least 2 years’ work experience
- Full HPCZ Registration and membership of the Radiological Society of Zambia
- Computer literacy (word, excel, power point packages)
- Ability to work with minimum Supervision
- Good interpersonal skills, A team player, good organizer, honest and highly professional
