Main Duties

• Deploy and maintain enterprise-grade network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls and related hardware/software.
• Plan and execute network projects, such as IP addressing, routing protocols and switching configurations.
• Proactively monitor network health latency, packet loss, uptime to meet SLAs and ensure optimal client service delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage routing maintenance, upgrades and emergency interventions for systems in data centers.
• Oversee network monitoring and management for key clients, partner and institutional links.
• Partner with cross-functional teams Sales, Accounts, Customer Support to align network operations with business goals.
• Mentor and guide Network/Technical/Customer Support teams on network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams, device configurations and operational procedures.
• Conduct quarterly training sessions for the Network & Technical Support teams to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Deliver regular reports to the Head of Operations, covering network performance, project status and incident resolution.

Personal Qualities & Qualifications
Job Holder need to be:

• Degree holder in Electrical Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering Or Computer Engineering from reputable higher institution.
• Must be certified professional in the relevant network engineering certifications like MTCRE, CCNA, CCNP & CCIE etc.
• A focused, self-motivated Network Engineer with creative flair who will bring Network strategies to life.
• An Engineer passionate about Network Strategies that thrives on delivering exciting performance and content.
• A highly effective individual who has an absolute eye for detail and is focusedon improving business performance through exceptional Network – Strategies/Solutions execution, reporting and evaluation
• BGP, TCP/IP, Vlan experience.
• Sales skills.
