Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Officer to oversee inventory management within a fast-paced retail and distribution environment.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring stock movements, maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting stock reconciliations, and ensuring optimal inventory levels across the business.
  • The ideal candidate should be self-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess hands-on experience using RetailMan software and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all stock locations.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels and recommend timely replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Generate inventory reports using RetailMan software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions and stock movements.
  • Work closely with the procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Inventory Officer.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Proficiency in RetailMan software is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail or distribution environment.
  • Willingness to reside in the company's shared staff accommodation.
