Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking an experienced and highly competent HR Manager to lead and strengthen its human resources function.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives, talent management, organisational development, employee relations, and overall HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish, structure, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and systems.
  • Drive talent acquisition, workforce planning, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
  • Manage performance management processes and support employee development programmes.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to support organisational growth and workforce effectiveness.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support management decision-making.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of a First Degree BSc/HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is required.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in an HR leadership or managerial role.
  • Relevant HR leadership experience within the Power, Engineering, EPC, Manufacturing, Construction, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, structure, and lead HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, organisational development, and performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
