• Lead and manage the estimating team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tendering activities.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements.
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate costs.
• Develop and implement estimating best practices and cost-control measures.
• Present estimates and tender submissions to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing, and innovations in construction methods.
• Mentor and train junior estimators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, or similar tools).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
