Job Summary

  • The Graduate Trainee Engineering is a structured early-career programme designed to develop high-potential engineering graduates into competent technical professionals capable of supporting the company's offshore and operational activities.
  • Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive technical, operational, safety, and leadership development through structured classroom learning, on-the-job training, mentoring, and practical field exposure across their respective engineering disciplines.
  • The programme is open to recent graduates in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Petroleum, and Chemical Engineering who demonstrate strong academic performance, learning agility, and a commitment to operational excellence and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Participate fully in the Graduate Development Programme, including all assigned technical and professional development activities.
  • Complete structured training, competency assessments, and rotational assignments across relevant operational functions.
  • Support engineering, maintenance, drilling, and marine operations under the supervision of experienced professionals.
  • Assist with equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.
  • Observe and comply with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental HSSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports, operational records, and engineering documentation as required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning throughout the programme.
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned as part of the graduate development and succession planning process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree B.Eng./B.Sc. in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of Second Class Upper 2:1. First Class graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • 0 – 1 year post-graduation experiencing abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated learning agility with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and work environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • Willingness to work in offshore and operational environments where required.
