Background

General Workers provide essential support across various departments, ensuring the hotel operates smoothly.

Responsibilities

General Maintenance: Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and light bulb replacement.

Groundskeeping: Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including gardens, walkways, and parking lots.

Luggage Assistance: Help guests with luggage during check-in and check-out.

Delivery Support: Assist with the delivery of supplies, linen, and equipment to different departments.

Cleaning Support: Support housekeeping and cleaning teams with heavy cleaning tasks as needed.

Event Setup: Assist in setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events, meetings, and functions.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols and report any hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications

Full Grade 12 Certificate.

Relevant academic or professional qualifications for specialised positions.

Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is an added advantage.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
