Our client has an opportunity available for an Internal Auditor in the FMCG space.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12
- Degree / Qualification in Internal Auditing, Accounting or Finance
- Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
- Experience within the Retail environment of at least 5 – 10 years
- Internal Audit Experience in an FMCG environment of 2- 5 years will be Very Advantageous
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Administration qualification will be advantageous if the person has such skills
- Pastel (Required) Evolution (advantage); Excel (Required); Arch advantage
- Computer literacy (Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
- Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
- Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
