Consultant Jobs in Kapiri Mposhi:

• Assignment Overview In alignment with its Strategic Plan 2026–2029, ETE seeks an experienced consultant or firm to design a donor-compliant Financial Management Policy and Procedures Manual.
• This manual will enhance financial governance, ensure compliance with statutory and donor requirements, and support sustainable financial management practices.
• Key Responsibilities Review current financial systems and controls against statutory and donor standards.
• Develop clear, practical policies covering budgeting, cash management, procurement, payroll, asset control, financial reporting, internal controls, and grant management.
• Facilitate a validation workshop with ETE staff and the Board Finance Committee.
• Deliver a final Financial Management Policy and Procedures Manual in both electronic and hard copy formats.
• Conduct a one-day orientation session to build staff capacity on the new manual.
• Consultant Qualifications and Experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ZICA) are advantageous.
• At least five years’ experience developing financial policies and procedures for NGOs or civil society organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Zambian statutory requirements and donor compliance standards such as Plan International and USAID.
• Excellent facilitation, writing, and report preparation skills.
• Proven track record with references from at least two similar assignments.

Duration and Reporting The consultancy will span approximately 20 working days over five weeks, reporting directly to the Executive Director and collaborating with the Administration/Finance Officer and Board Finance Committee.
