Fibreglass Operator (Taylor Smith Boatyard ltd)

Role Duties & Requirements 

• Fibreglass Application: Prepare moulds and apply fibreglass layers using rollers, brushes, or spray guns. 
• Resin & Gel Coat Handling: Mix and apply resins, gel coats, and composite materials for boat construction.
• Trimming & Finishing: Cut, sand, and polish fibreglass parts to achieve the required shape and smooth surface.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished components to ensure they meet production and safety standards.
• Tool Operation: Use hand tools and power tools for fibreglass lamination and finishing. 
• Safety Compliance: Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Candidate should have a clear Certificate of Character
