The role offers a full-time, five-year contract with direct reporting to the Postmaster General / Group CEO. About the Executive Assistant Role As an Executive Assistant at ZAMPOST, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Postmaster General’s Office.
This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing complex schedules, coordinating high-level meetings, and handling confidential information with utmost discretion. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily operations within the Postmaster General’s Office to ensure efficiency.
Manage the Postmaster General’s diary, appointments, and official engagements. Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, reports, correspondence, and presentations.
Follow up on pending actions and assignments to ensure timely completion. Handle executive correspondence and maintain confidential records securely.
Liaise effectively with government institutions, Board Secretariat, senior management, and other stakeholders. Organise high-level meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
Prepare meeting agendas, briefing packs, and accurate minutes. Monitor the implementation of management and Board decisions.
Coordinate official travel and logistical arrangements. Supervise administrative support staff and support corporate initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications and Experience Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Management, Secretarial Studies, Management Studies, or a related field. A degree qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience. At least 3 years’ experience in a senior executive, administrative, or office management support role.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating high-level meetings and preparing executive correspondence, reports, and briefing materials. Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Essential Skills for Executive Assistant Jobs in Lusaka Exceptional organisational, planning, and coordination skills.
