Job Summary:
Operate excavators safely and efficiently for excavation, loading, earthmoving, and material-handling activities in accordance with mine operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators to meet daily production requirements.
• Complete pre-start inspections and identify mechanical defects.
• Perform excavation, loading, trenching, and stockpiling activities.
• Work safely around personnel, vehicles, and other heavy equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and report faults promptly.
• Maintain accurate equipment operating records.

Requirements:
Relevant operator certification/licence and demonstrated experience operating excavators, preferably in a mining environment.
