About the Role – Engineering Assistant Civil Jobs in Lusaka As an Engineering Assistant - Civil, you will play a vital role in supporting site engineers with the supervision and management of construction activities. This full-time position requires hands-on involvement in technical tasks such as geometric measurements, temperature monitoring, and data collection to ensure construction processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Assist site engineers in daily construction supervision and project management. Perform technical duties including geometric measurements, temperature monitoring, and accurate data recording.

Conduct routine site inspections to maintain controlled and steady construction progress. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all construction data collected on site.

Support quality control measures and contribute to enhancing site management efficiency. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to meet project goals.

Qualifications and Experience Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related technical fields, certified by ZAQA. Relevant academic backgrounds include Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or similar disciplines.

At least 2 years of hands-on experience working on construction projects. Experience collaborating with Chinese companies is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic understanding of construction processes and site management techniques. Familiarity with measurement tools and methods used in construction environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word. Basic Chinese language skills are preferred but not mandatory.

Strong responsibility, teamwork, and coordination abilities. Capacity to perform effectively under site conditions and work pressure.
