• Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with the Zambia Road Traffic Act and company policies.
• Transport staff, goods, equipment, and documents promptly to designated locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking fuel, oil, water, tyres, and brakes.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues without delay.
• Keep accurate trip records, mileage logs, and fuel consumption reports.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation such as insurance, road tax, and fitness certificates are valid and current.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while on duty.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Qualifications and Experience Required Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Class B or C driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Defensive driving certificate is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ proven driving experience, preferably within corporate or logistics sectors.
• Good knowledge of Lusaka roads and routes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
