Alteo Agri Ltd is looking for a Crawler Tractor Driver HMU GRADE 1 who will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive operation of crawler
tractors and associated equipment in support of agricultural and
diversification activities. The candidate may be assigned to work as an Infield
Driver or Diversification Driver according to operational
requirements.
Main responsibilities
- Operate crawler tractors and
attached implements safely and efficiently.
- Perform agricultural and
diversification activities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure work is completed
according to operational plans, specifications, and productivity targets.
- Execute field activities related
to harvesting support, and other agricultural operations.
- Follow field layouts, GPS
guidance systems, and supervisor instructions where applicable.
- Minimize crop damage and maintain
quality standards during operations.
- Conduct pre-start and
post-operation inspections of the tractor and equipment.
- Check engine oil, coolant, fuel,
hydraulic oil, tracks, lights, safety devices, and other critical
components.
- Report defects, breakdowns,
accidents, and abnormal machine conditions immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good
condition of the machine.
- Use mobile phone for digital system to record daily activities.
- Enter service charge information
accurately and on time.
- Record daily work performed,
machine hours, field locations, fuel usage, and operational data.
- Report breakdowns, delays, and
safety incidents through the designated digital platform.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness,
and timely submission of all digital records.
- Comply with all company Health,
Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
- Wear and maintain required
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate machinery safely to
protect people, equipment, crops, and property.
- Report unsafe conditions and
participate in safety initiatives
- Achieve daily work targets and
productivity standards.
- Minimize machine downtime, fuel
wastage, and operational inefficiencies.
- Optimize machine utilization
while maintaining quality of work.
- Support continuous improvement
initiatives within the department.
- Maintain effective communication
with supervisors, planners, mechanics, and other team members.
- Attend toolbox talks, training
sessions, and operational meetings as required.
- Cooperate with other employees to
ensure smooth execution of field operations.
- Follow all company policies,
procedures, and operational instructions.
- Safeguard company assets,
equipment, tools, and digital devices.
- Perform any other related duties
within the employee’s competence as assigned by management.
