We are seeking three dedicated and highly alert Control Room Operators to join our dynamic team in Kitwe, Copperbelt Province, Zambia.

This full-time, on-site role involves shift-based work supporting our cutting-edge logistics, GPS tracking, fleet management, and security operations. Our innovative fleet management platform integrates multiple GPS data sources into a single dashboard, enhancing route monitoring, incident management, and operational reporting. Key Responsibilities for Control Room Operator Jobs in Kitwe Monitor GPS tracking systems, fleet status, and route progress in real time.

Identify and escalate security incidents, delays, route deviations, breakdowns, and accidents promptly. Communicate effectively with drivers, security escorts, supervisors, logistics coordinators, and management.

Oversee high-value cargo movements to ensure compliance with planned routes and procedures. Respond immediately to GPS and security alerts, verifying tracking data accuracy.

Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, handover records, and daily operational documentation. Prepare and submit timely reports to management and clients.

Adhere strictly to company SOPs, escalation protocols, and security guidelines. Support 24/7 operations through shift-based scheduling, ensuring continuous monitoring.

Qualifications and Experience Required Grade 12 Certificate. Certificate in Computer Studies, Information Technology, Transport & Logistics, or related fields.

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with strong computer literacy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Additional Skills and Experience Experience in control room operations and multi-system monitoring. Background in logistics, transport operations, and fleet management.

Knowledge of security operations and coordination. Familiarity with mining, industrial, or plant operations.

Competence in incident and emergency response coordination. Experience working with GPS tracking or fleet management software in a 24/7 operational environment.

Personal Attributes Highly alert and detail-oriented. Reliable, disciplined, and responsible.

Calm and professional under pressure. Strong communication and coordination skills.

Ability to follow SOPs accurately and solve problems effectively. Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
