Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 (C1) driver's licence.
- Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Valid Forklift Operator Certificate.
- Grade 12 (Matric) preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience as a Code 10 driver.
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Good knowledge of South African road regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Code 10 heavy-duty vehicle to transport goods to customers and company sites.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Load and unload goods using a forklift.
- Secure cargo correctly before transportation.
- Complete delivery notes, logbooks, and other transport documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic care of the truck and forklift.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required.
- Report accidents, incidents, or damaged goods immediately.
- Adhere to company policies and road traffic laws.
