Employment Information

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs and coordinates professional office and field civil engineering work.
  • Support project managers and site engineers with administrative and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinates assigned activities with other departments, outside agencies, and the general public.
  • Analyzesurvey reports, and geological data to design structures using computer-aided design CAD software.
  • Prepare cost estimates, manage timelines, and track budget expenditures for labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain project files including contracts, permits, drawings, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate communication between the head office, construction sites, suppliers, contractors, andclients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and administrative procedures.
  • Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders when necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies, site materials records, and logistical arrangementsand company documents.
  • Submit permit applications to government agencies and ensure all designs meet local and national constructioncodes.
  • Oversee fieldwork, resolve design discrepancies, and conduct quality control inspections to ensure the project is built to specifications.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Officeor similar structural and modeling programs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, clients, and government officials.
  • Capability to troubleshoot on-site challenges and adapt designs quickly.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial record-keeping is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and documentation processes is preferred.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
