The Chief
Digital & Information Officer (CIDO) will oversee the Bank’s Information
Technology and Operations functions and will be responsible for driving the
Bank’s digital transformation and technology strategy. The CIDO will ensure
that all systems, infrastructure, and operational processes effectively support
the Bank’s objectives while maintaining the highest standards of security,
compliance, efficiency, and innovation.
The Chief
Digital & Information Officer will play a critical leadership role in
aligning technology initiatives with business goals and ensuring that
information technology delivers maximum value to the Bank’s operations and
customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement the Bank’s IT and
digital strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure that the Bank’s IT infrastructure,
systems, and networks adequately support operational and future business
requirements.
- Oversee banking operations including ACH
and wire transfers, card processing, loan operations, and other back-office
functions.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous
process improvement initiatives across the Bank.
- Lead strategic IT and digital
transformation projects from initiation to completion.
- Establish and maintain effective project
management frameworks and governance structures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams,
vendors, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to IT and Project Steering
Committees.
- Ensure robust information security,
disaster recovery, and business continuity frameworks are implemented and
regularly tested.
- Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity,
and availability of the Bank’s systems and data.
- Identify operational and technology risks
and implement effective mitigation controls.
- Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures,
audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor emerging technologies, industry
trends, and banking regulations to ensure timely implementation of required
changes.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction
to the IT team.
- Foster a high-performance culture and
support staff development and training initiatives.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and
operational excellence across the department.
PREREQUISITES:
- Master’s degree in business administration,
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized
institution.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in
Information Systems and Technology with progressive leadership
responsibilities.
- Strong banking or financial services
industry experience, preferably 10–15 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in digital
transformation, IT governance, cybersecurity, and banking operations
management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale
projects and manage organizational change.
