Carpenters (15 Positions)

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to prepare project layouts and determine material requirements .
• Measure, mark, and cut timber, wood substitute materials, and composite products to precise specifications, using hand tools, power saws, and machines .
• Construct, erect, and install building frameworks, including partitions, floor joists, studding, rafters, formwork (shuttering), door frames, window frames, and roof structures .
• Install fixtures and fittings such as cabinets, doors, skirting boards, flooring, trim, and hardware .
• Perform calculations for material quantities, complex angles, and structural loads to ensure accurate and cost-effective work .
• Arrange for and coordinate with subcontractors for related work such as electrical or plumbing installations .
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all site safety rules

Requirements

• Trade Certificate in Steel Fixing
• Trade Certificate in Carpentry
• Construction Experience
