Role Overview:
Prepare and maintain detailed technical 2D/3D CAD drawings, designs, and documentation for mechanical equipment, structural works, and civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed schematics, orthographic drawings, and layout designs using AutoCAD.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and verify material specifications for civil/mechanical works.
- Coordinate with engineering teams and contractors to resolve design revisions.
- Ensure drawing compliance with company HSE, ZEMA environmental standards, the Factories Act, and the NAPSA Act.
Qualifications or requirements:
- Technologist Diploma, Advanced Technician Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Formal training and proven proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Strong attention to detail and command of technical English communication.
Experience needed:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant drafting experience.
