Zambia Airways 2024 Limited is recruiting two Cabin Crew Supervisors.
JOB PURPOSE
The Cabin Services Supervisor will oversee cabin operations, cabin crew performance, regulatory compliance, customer-service standards and cabin crew resource management while actively operating as a Senior Cabin Crew member. The role is the focal point for scheduling, welfare, training coordination, performance monitoring and operational support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as designated Senior Cabin Crew on assigned flights and lead crews during normal, abnormal and emergency operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, safety procedures and customer-service standards
• Monitor crew performance, productivity, conduct and professional standards, providing feedback and recommendations
• Coordinate crew scheduling, availability, leave planning, manpower needs, roster adjustments and operational coverage
• Monitor qualifications, recency, training validity and regulatory compliance to maintain readiness
• Coordinate training needs and initial, recurrent and corrective programmes with Operations and relevant departments
• Review safety and occurrence reports, audit findings and service reports; monitor corrective actions and escalate urgent matters
• Support crew welfare, manage workplace conflicts and foster effective communication and a positive working environment
• Improve onboard service and customer experience and resolve passenger concerns
• Contribute to workforce planning, policy development and continuous improvement of safety and service standards
• Perform other administrative, operational and supervisory duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree or Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality Management, Customer Service, Tourism or a related field
• At least three years’ Cabin Crew experience, including senior or supervisory experience
• Valid Cabin Crew, Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP), and First Aid certifications
• Proven experience in cabin crew management, flight operations and aviation regulatory compliance
• Extensive customer-experience knowledge, including drafting and implementing aviation-sector customer-experience strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of cabin crew platforms is an advantage
COMPETENCIES
Excellent communication, presentation, report writing, public speaking, conflict resolution, teamwork, leadership, analytical, negotiation and deadline-management skills.
