Key Responsibilities
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
- Apply data visualisation best practices and standards
- Design and deliver BI solutions aligned to business requirements
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Build and optimise dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas)
- Develop SQL scripts and queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
- Perform data reconciliation and ensure data accuracy across systems
- Engage with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into BI solutions
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data integrity and alignment
- Support knowledge sharing and contribute to a data-driven culture
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities
- Stay up to date with emerging BI tools, technologies, and best practices
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and regulatory requirements
- Implement data quality monitoring and validation controls
- Maintain documentation for data models, reports, and processes
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field1-3 years of experience in BI / data analytics environment
- Strong experience with:Power BI (or equivalent)
- SQL / T-SQLData modelling (dimensional modelling)1-3 years of experience with Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS Tabular)
- Knowledge of DAXExperience with data integration and reporting automation
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
